MorningStar Senior Living at Ridgegate
Project Description
MEP Engineering was selected to provide design services for a new senior living and memory care facility. At 265,000 SF, the largest of the Haselden/MorningStar collaborations, MorningStar at RidgeGate was MEP’s first project to including independent living (124 units) in addition to assisted living (71 units) and memory care (29 units). The $51M project included all of MorningStar’s typical amenities, such as a salon, theater, chapel, library, activity center, fitness & wellness center, massage therapy room, game room, laundry, and general store. The facility also included several restaurants, enclosed courtyards with lush landscaping, outdoor patios with fireplaces, outdoor dining areas, outdoor activity areas, and a recreation-center style space built around a pool and hot tub. The project is located in the heart of RidgeGate, immediately across the street from the Lone Tree Arts Center and a brand new library branch set to open in 2016. Also, the project is only a block from RidgeGate’s shopping and dining districts
